CH2M HILL operates in all major markets in the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq and Afghanistan. Emphasizing water, wastewater, power, transportation and industrial and government facilities services, our goal is to create lasting value for our clients.

Since 1977, the firm's Middle Eastern presence continued to grow, after an urban development project was started in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Currently, there are nine office locations established in this region, with more than 500 staff. By uniting strong local relationships, global resources and alliances, and cost-effective technologies, CH2M HILL has been delivering successful and sustainable projects in this region for over 30 years.

Some examples of our major active projects:

• ADSSC Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Program - Program Management of a major wastewater infrastructure upgrade, including 45 km tunnel in Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Al Ain Wildlife Park and Resort - Programme Management for a mixed use development on approximately 900 hectares (2,220 acres)
• General Organization for Sanitary Drainage, Water System - Consultancy and Institutional Development Services in Cairo, Egypt
• MASDAR - Programme Management for the first carbon natural and zero-waste sustainable city nestled in the heart of Abu Dhabi, UAE
• Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority - Design, supply, installation and commissioning of three seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination plants producing six million gallons of water a day from each plant
