Inc. 5000 Names CH2M HILL Largest Company on Fastest-Growing Private Company List

DENVER, 27 August 2008 — CH2M HILL, a global full-service engineering, procurement, construction, and operations firm, has been named the largest company ever to make the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

"Our second annual Inc. 5000 continues the most ambitious project in business journalism," said Inc. 5000 Project Manager Jim Melloan. CH2M HILL was ranked in the top spot for the Top 100 Inc. 5,000 Companies by Revenue and the Top 100 Inc. 5,000 Companies by Gross Dollars of Growth. The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. With $5.8 billion in revenue in 2007, CH2M HILL's revenue grew more than 85 percent from 2004.

• Serving as program management for the seven-year, $5 billion expansion of the Panama Canal.

• Managing a $10 billion military base relocation program for the U.S. and South Korean governments.
• Serving as program manager for the historic 32-kilometer Thames Tideway Tunnel Program to capture sewer discharges in London's deepest ever tunnel and transfer it for treatment.
• Managing the Navy's largest ongoing munitions cleanup on Vieques, Puerto Rico, to oversee the safe removal and disposal of unexploded ordnances in environmentally responsible ways.
• Managing nuclear operations at the high-level radioactive waste tank farms at the Hanford Site in southeastern Washington.
