Tsunami Relief

CH2M HILL employees around the world responded immediately following the news of one of the most devastating natural disasters of our time. E-mail chains expressing shock, amazement, and concern for the individuals affected by the Indian Ocean tsunami quickly spread throughout the firm. Just as quickly, offers to help through any means possible—financial contributions, volunteerism, and engineering ideas and support—flooded the e-mail and voice mail boxes of senior leaders in CH2M HILL offices from Toronto to Denver to Sydney.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, CH2M HILL employees have helped rebuild lives and communities in the impacted nations. Employees have contributed personally to a number of different relief agencies, including the American Red Cross, UNICEF, World Vision, AmeriCares, Mercy Corps, and Engineers Without Borders-USA, among others.

In addition to much-needed financial support, CH2M HILL professionals are providing critical engineering and operations services, with the vision of providing long-term sustainable solutions.
