Fla. City OKs 5-Year Public Works Renewal With CH2M HILL
DENVER, April 9, 2010 – The City of Live Oak, Fla., recently renewed its contract with CH2M HILL for public works services for five additional years, with a five-year automatic renewal option.
Through careful management of time and resources, CH2M HILL has regularly come in under budget, helping save the city more than $1 million over the past five years.
The partnership with Live Oak began in 1997. In addition to public works services such as street and right-of-way maintenance, solid waste collection and disposal, City fleet vehicle maintenance, and ground maintenance for the City’s cemetery and public spaces, CH2M HILL also provides operations and maintenance services for Live Oak’s water and wastewater plant and spray field. That contract was renewed in 2007.
Located in Florida’s panhandle approximately 80 miles east of Tallahassee, Live Oak is the county seat of Suwannee County and has approximately 7,000 residents.
