Polysilicon and Silane

Ultra-pure polysilicon is at the center of the PV energy process, and CH2M HILL has an extensive history of designing, constructing, and starting polysilicon facilities. Our engineers and designers work with client or third-party technology to provide site development, technology integration, and revamp services, including master planning, feasibility, front-end engineering design, and engineer-procure-construct-manage services around the world.

The process to produce polysilicon typically uses high purity monosilane, chlorosilane, and trichlorosilane (TCS) feedstock in a closed-loop production process. CH2M HILL is also highly qualified to design leading-edge polysilicon production facililities using monosilane-related chlorosilane processes, including dedicated feedstock facilities for the semiconductor, consumer electronics manufacturing, and thin film solar cell industries.

Environmental Management
